I didn't get it until I saw that photo - lol

    • People would be soo pissed if that was true. One slice of sushi for 1 buck. So really that's $3 per plate, even that's a good price.

Still misleading if that's the case. 1 slice, hahahahaha

Just realised it's 10min drive from me. I'll go on 17th. Awesome.

        • see u all there this Sat

          • @IceTooth: Do you know if its one slice of sushi per plate or one sushi roll sliced on a plate like normal sushi places.

I just had a look at the logan restaurant franchise and $8.5 per roll. That's expensive, sushi rolls at Sunnybank plaza are $3.50 inside next to kmart.

That makes sense now, It's not even a discount. One sushi roll is cut into 8 slices normally for around $8 per large roll or $3.50-$4 for half rolls.

$1 slices on a plate is the normal price anyways. Lol

  • Saw it last night. Man, gonna be packed!

500 plates of single pieces of tuna roll coming right up

  • what a bunch cockroaches! drove from GC to this disgraceful restaurant who didn't honour their $1 deal so $20 in the air in fuel. So many ppl were turned away. False advertising just to bring a crowd to boost your ego & business. I wouldn't spend a $1 at your disgraceful restaurant even if u were the last food business. Your business will go into bankruptcy within 12 months due to your integrity & greedy behaviour.

    • Really, That was a total load of bullshit advertising. I was planning on going on way home from house hunting that day but got tied up for whole day so didn't bother because I thought woulybe too busy around 5:30pm on way home.

I'll definitely never go there now because of that. They shouldn't have done that because locals never forget shit like false advertising.

  • There was a huge wait-line but ended up being worth it if you arrived way earlier and didn't need to wait as long. I personally arrived around 10:40am and waited till 12:10pm before I got in (and I was able to get in quicker cause I went by myself). They were just the usual plates (quantity and quality) but for $1 rather than the usual price (~$4.5-6 per plate). I had 14 plates which would have cost $73.5 in total but ended up costing $14 instead because of the deal saving me $59.5. It was pretty decent but wouldn't recommend at full price over Sushi Edo which is better in cost and quality.
