I tried the 'TEN' code that that they still have on the banner on Liquorland website (even though it states expiry at midnight yesterday), and it didn't work (30 mins past midnight here atm).

Was worth a shot, lol. :)

You'd probably get your cashback rejected, as many others have.

      50/50, you can't return booze.

I saw an AD on Instagram for bonus 2,000 Flybuys, but couldn't find anything on the website.

      • I saw it too but nothing came up. Found the link though

I could not see on the mainpage so called to confirm but the CSO said no such promo today

          • @Flyinghigh: Also the terms and conditions linked to, go to a page that says, "Terms and Conditions", next line, "Bonus Flybuys", and that's it, lol.

            • @metalslaw: Yep, the page is blank….but 2000 seems a good bonus

              • @Spending2Much: Just checked with Liquorland again and confirm it is only for those prods listed on the link. Hope it helps.

            • @metalslaw: Yeap.. that is what it says.. nothing more and the op confirms no such deal

            • +2

@metalslaw: I have found the Terms and condition, it isn't blank. They are in written in white colour. Highlighting the blank section will reveal the terms and condition. I have copy pasted below.

It just says "2000 bonus points will be applied when you spend $50 or more online in one transaction during the dates specified" doesn't not specify any specific products.

"Points offer valid online only at Liquorland. To qualify for this offer you must spend the qualifying amount online and enter your Flybuys card number online at the time of purchase. Transactions must take place between 9/12/2022 and 11.59pm 9/12/2022. 2000 bonus points will be applied when you spend $50 or more online in one transaction during the dates specified. This offer is limited to one redemption per Flybuys account. Points not awarded on purchases deemed to be wholesale quantities. Retail limits apply to all products. Points awarded after savings and discounts. Excludes gift cards and smoking/tobacco product purchases. Points will be credited within 4 weeks of a qualifying transaction. Flybuys' privacy policy applies. Standard Flybuys terms and conditions apply and are available at flybuys.com.au."

              • @Benzy: Great effort. I am going to save time of arguing with flybuys which always assume it is customers' fault and won't admit or give the points unless threatened with Fair Trading etc.

              • @Benzy: @Benzy Nice find.

I think you could easily just highlight the whole section, and use that as proof to have flybuys honor the deal. What can they say against something that looks like a website coding error. Also, the fact that someone mentioned that they definitely advertised the 2000 points on instagram, leads credence to this is a legit offer.

I think I'm going to give it a go.

              • @Benzy: Basically should be on any $50 spend….

Usually, however, on previous purchases, when I've completed the sale, it usually says how many Flybuys points I've accrued on that sale, including any bonus points, and this time, I just got the basic 79 FB points….no mention of 2000 bonus

Excellent. Stacks with the targeted $10 bonus from Cashrewards!

  • I've had the last three Liquorland cashbacks fail to track, even though all other websites work fine.

CR needs to pull their finger out.

    • Did you have any luck submitting a claim?

This the first time I've used CR for Liquorland, and it doesn't look like it automatically tracked for me either.

      • Submitted claims for all, all denied.

That's $60 lost in the last month so I won't be trusting CR going forward

        • Wow, very disappointing.

I won't be using CR either going forward if they don't honor this one.

        • Mine did an hour ago but I've had a few with other retailers which didn't in the past. I find that using FF instead of Chrome helps. I also chase both CR and the seller if it's worth it and stand my ground when the usual guff about adblockers etc is raised.

LL offers inducements to get you to purchase, you have click evidence, dates and times of purchase, so no more evidence required. Consumer law is clear about inducements. And, if you've followed the rules it is not up to the seller to decide they won't honour their advertised discount.

          • @Igaf: It's not LL that's offering the cashback, therefore if it doesn't track properly to CashRewards (or Shopback for other deals) then they don't have any affiliation referral payout to pass onto us.

            • @Switchblade88: LL isn't aware of the CB offer or that the sales have been boosted by CR?

        • I believe the rep on here is @tightarse, tagging as they usually sort these things out if you flag it with them.

FYI I used to have issues with SB and CR when using browsers, but since exclusively using the mobile app it's never failed.

@werdplaya58: Hi and thanks for the tag @werdplaya58.

@Switchblade88 @Tight Tim @Igaf and others. If you have consistent issues with tracking (be it one store or multiple), the cause is almost always your browser. This is why I spruik often to try the CR mobile app, as it uses it's own native browser and therefore the chances lessen significantly by using it. Further, doing so via 4G/5G instead of wifi also then cuts out potential issues with routers and firewalls.

Please note that almost every untracked transaction means commission has gone to another partner - be it Honey, Google, 3xCamels, OzB, Finder, Top Bargains, Price Hipster, Coupon sites - I could go on forever. It's critical that your very last click before you buy is from Cashrewards. So in summary, when your purchase is not tracked via Cashrewards, it generally tracks elsewhere and someone else is benefitting from the commission you should have received, and stores will never pay commission to more than one partner for any sale.

I add the below in almost all my posts:

For general tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Make sure you're subscribed to our newsletter so you don't miss out on promotions and great deals. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

There's also another one we've discovered recently that could potentially cause issues via Chrome. Go to settings, then Privacy and security, and ensure Privacy Sandbox is off. They've snuck this in at some time, and testing has shown some stores fail to track if enabled.

Pixel/cookie tracking is unfortunately not an exact science and issues can & will happen, but I truly hope some of the above helps resolve any issues you may have, and feel free to reach out for assistance. In the meantime, have a wonderful afternoon ahead :)

            • @tightarse: Thanks for the response @tightarse. I actually used the iOS app just to be safe - so fingers crossed it tracks and is just taking time to show up.

            • @tightarse: Perhaps 'oh, it would seem that some other mob took commission for your sale' would be useful feedback to provide the customer, rather than 'Denied.' - Then we'd at least be able to diagnose the problem.

  • Stone and Wood = $77 - Should get $17.50 back bringing it to $59.50

  • Wild Turkey 1L = $68 - $15.5 CB brings it to $52.50 which isn't bad

  • Worked for me - cashback tracked.
FYI - Interesting that they calculate the cashback on the price without GST - Not sure if it's the same with Shopback?

    • Same across all partners. It's how Coles Liquor reports its sales. It's also in the 5th dot point of the OP :)

  • Last 3-4 orders over black Friday was not track, not sure what happened at that time. Has to cancel my orders. Bought Beer today through App and it tracked :)

  • My tracked using the extension

They should really make it apparent whether the cashback includes GST pricing or not. Otherwise it effectively changes the percentage.

    • It is in the original post and mentioned in lots of previous (but not every) earlier deals on alcohol in particular.

      • It doesn't hurt to make it very clear. Just poor UI

  • Anyone using LL online with delivery should have a look at https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/liquorland-online-… before ordering. It ain't pretty.

    • Yep. I can absolutely confirm, these one star reviews are legit.
There's no direct phone contact, email is returned as undeliverable/unmanned. The store enquiry email is bluntly closed down as different department. Online chat is a bot. When a real.oeraon answers, zero service and zero help.
Slow, slow, slow dispatch times, not just delivery times.
I definitely won't be doing any LL delivery orders at all, ever again.
