Anyone else in Brisbane have Auspost parcels that have been last checked in showing departing other states but not arrived in Brisbane and it’s been now over a week? I have parcels from Melbourne and Adelaide so far that look stuck in a queue..
Curious if their is a major backlog in Brisbane that anyone else is experiencing.
This is the second time I've seen a post like this so I feel it is. I'm in Sydney and a package I ordered took nearly 1.5 weeks NSW to NSW. Though my passport took 2 weeks Sydney to Sydney :/.
As you say they feel like they're stuck in a queue, like they're sitting in one place in Aus post and nothing happens until a week later.
I have parcels from Melbourne and Adelaide so far that look stuck in a queue

I ordered something from Amazon AU just before midday today and it arrived 7:30pm same day.

one of my parcels has been sitting at pinkenba sorting centre for over a week. usually when parcels get there they get delivered the next day
Yes, I thought it was just me! Item picked up from Kingsgrove 28/11 and stopped there. Got an email on the 3/12 saying its delayed, if I don't have by the 19th, I should contact them. Current status is "delayed". I've got this vision in my head of a massive warehouse filled to the roof with parcels, and they just locked the door and put it in the too hard basket.
I sent a parcel to NSW from Vic which has been bouncing back and forth between Queensland and Vic for many weeks. Seriously it's been to QLD and back at least 4 times. I just refunded, because it was killing my sales.

Yeah had a package "in transit" from Vic to Brisbane for 7 business days now.
Still better than Aramex though, been "On board for delivery" for 3 days now.
Aramex/Fastway poor reviews are indicative of system failure, and the decision makers just don’t care.
I refuse to use them after many failures and lengthy delays involving misdirection of goods.

Yeah I hate them, I actively avoid sellers that use them, but some sellers don't list who they use.
The worst part is that this is a part from my local Total Tools, which is 5 minutes down the road. It is a Special Order item which I thought was sent from some central warehouse but what they do instead is post it to the local shop and then they ship it to the customer. So it has been days just sitting in some truck when I could have just driven 5 minutes down the road and got it from the local store if I had just selected pickup.
Yeah I'm having the same issue - frustrating as I've paid for express post too.
Have an express post item coming from Brisbane to Sydney, it’s been a week since AP received it and I still haven’t got it yet. Abysmal.
TBH the whole network is just complete trash right now:
Express post BRIS to MEL took 5 days
3 x Regular parcel BRIS to MEL (still in transit) +5 days
Regular parcel MEL to BRIS hasn't moved for 3+ days
$200 package, disappeared in customs for over 2 weeks
I had a parcel arrive in Brisbane from the US in about a week, then once it landed in Brisbane get delayed from Tuesday 6th Dec til the 22nd.

Bro it's so early in December it's obscene to have 2 week delays this early.
Don't think you really have to ask it's going to backlogged from Black Friday to after Xmas, and then slowing down for New years.
Also remember reading in the App about some train crash that departed from SA not sure if that will affect things.
Other way around for me. I’m in Adelaide and things have been coming from places like QLD, show as delayed for a week or more, and then arrive. Wondering if it’s a backlog of BFCM sales packages or what.
