for those who care, the game has just been made available on Steam. It was previously tied to ubisoft's launcher, this version likely activates there too. Steam version is currently on sale for $29.68.
From my experience, serial numbers can differ between platforms; a serial number for one platform doesn't necessarily mean it will work on another.
probably should have clarified that this deal would activate on Uplay (not just 'there') lol
Over 200 hours played, solid AC title. Not that hyped for Rift but I did the cheap Amazon preorder.
I can almost guarantee this will be a PC code for Ubisoft (Uplay) - not Steam.
Uplay keys will not work for Steam activations.
Also this will be a code in a DVD case, Amazon won't provide you the key, you'll need to wait for the postage.

If you want a really long game then this game is for you. I never finished it though because it's too long and repetitive.
Purchased - last AC I played was Odyssey and loved it!
Completed it a while back and recently bought the Ragnarok expansion for $30 for XBox. Hoping to get back into it over the break and finish the expansion off. Really long game and loved it. Lots of things I still not completed like all the River Raids you can do.

The game started off well - in Norway. Had a Skyrim vibe. But once it moved to Old England it soon became highly repetitive. Unlike previous Creed games, the story in this game I found was not engaging. I gave it a rest at 50 hours of playtime, nowhere near the finish. I hope to return to it one day.
Yeah, same. I really enjoyed Odyssey. Apparently Valhalla was a different dev team. Explains a lot.

Good to note its on ubisoft play with all DLC for $20(?) a month. It is definitley a long game though so owning it may be a good option.
