I bought it on steam when steam's current sale started - did check GMG but it was still full price at the time. Time to refund on steam and get through GMG instead :)
Still holding out for free on Epic Games
impatiently waiting for them to release the forbidden west on PC as well.
Horizon Zero Dawn: released 2017 - ported to PC in 2020
Horizon Forbidden West: released 2022: ported to PC in 2025(?)
Gonna be waiting a while there.
Will be worth the wait. I'm playing the first one now at over 100fps. It's like a different game than when I played it on the PS4 at 30fps.
I assumed as much, got a PS5 just for this game but can't play with a controller so it's been eating dust since March. They could at-least add mouse and keyboard support for PS5 like some other games have.
After the update VRR works quite well and performance is a (almost) perfect 60fps.
Maybe try the mouse/keyboard converter dongle and see if it works for you?
I personally enjoy controllers much more on console native games.
@xmagic: I have looked everywhere for one but the reviews are pretty mixed, not sure which one is trustworthy enough. I really tried getting into the controller and even finished TLOU 1/2, great games, but the HZD is just too hard with the controller. I might have a few hours of the week to play games and really don't want to invest hours just learning a new controller when mouse and keyboard exist.
I did the same. The first part of the game was a struggle but I'm mostly used to using a controller now.
it most likely will release sooner than that since hzd was released before sony really started putting games on pc
$19.99 at CDKeys
Don't CDkeys accept keys from sellers who buy them with fake credit cards and such?
Worth the extra 50 cents to know the devs are getting (most) of your money.
Not sure.
Never had an issue with them. Are Game Billet a Legit seller ?
I've bought from Game Billet without issues in the past. I've done this one through GMG just because i prefer to deal in AUD and have ordered a lot from them in the past.
I purchased quite a few games from there. Not an issue at all.
WARNING: Game contains spyware as does all Sony's PC games.
Do the neggers work for Sony?
Link source or get neg
@Guybrush57: Thanks - it's enough to put me off the game.
Your second Reddit link is a different game though. Was it ported by the same company?
@beefsandwich: Whoops. I grabbed the wrong source on that second one and now it's too late to edit the post.
The Horizon terms and conditions say they are allowed to installed keyloggers on your computer.
@Guybrush57: I'm seeing people talk about alleged data collection (mainly from what the T&C says) but not a lot of actual evidence of what is actually collected etc
Asking for proof is fair enough. Negging when proof is out there is not.
@syousef: Burden of proof lies with the plaintiff
@OZKap: Yes but you don't beat the plaintiff with a stick while you're waiting for the proof.
@syousef: I was not beating the plaintiff with a stick, I was merely explaining why the plaintiff was being beaten with sticks.
In addition, the plaintiff's comment of "Do the neggers work for Sony?" Indicated at the time no interest on their part in providing proof.

Reads to me like you were encouraging/endorsing the downvotes.

Funny how when one is met with hostility, the desire to be helpful diminishes.
@OZKap: Yeah like you can be bothered wasting your time for the hordes of idiot anon. Burden lies on the person who gives the biggest shit.
absolutely give this gem a shot!
Seems to have been matched by Fanatical - $20.99 - if you're worried about legit sources.

Or Gog.com is not much more for a slightly less invasive installation.

Good candidate for GmG if you were targeted by today's $10 Cashrewards promo too.
