    Health star rating? For water?

  • +1

    Thanks OP.

    • +7

      Why

      • -5

        Healthy but tastes like shit.

        • -2

Yeap, this tastes terrible. Better just to use plain sodastream.

          • +3

            @bez: Subjective

          • -1

@bez: Yeah it basically has f all bubbles and zero taste. I'd rather straight soda water.

    • -2

      Absolutley agree.
Bought some on spesh 1 yr ago?
Obvious now but totally missed the "Sugar Free"
I think we tipped most down the sink.
      Just plain horrible stuff

    • +1

lucky i don't have friends so i'm free to drink what i like

  • Can anyone compare this to the Waterfords Sparkling specifically the Tahitian Lime flavour?

    • +6

      Different beast.

The Waterfords is full of sweeteners to give a low-calorie version of a sweet soft drink.

This has just fizzy water and a touch of flavour and is not sweet at all.

      • Waterfords prob give you cancer if you drink enough.

        • +1

How much is enough? Is water toxemia likely to be a problem first?

          • +1

@ihfree: Dunno, I’m suss on these artificial sweeteners but seems I should back up my theories with evidence lol

      • Cheers! Might just be that I'm used to drinking Coke, but the Waterfords doesn't taste sweet to me at all.

The RRP on these are insane, it is water, with a drop of flavouring, shipped in a truck multiple times with added carbon emissions and traffic. Instead of just drinking tap water which is like ~$3 for 1000 L and tested to be just as clean, you can buy an actual lime and make enough to fill a spa for literally less than the cost of one pack.

    • Agree.

    • Totally agree.

    • +7

      How to carbonate the spa?

      • and transport to beach

      • +9

The spa adds bubbles itself. That's the whole point of a spa.

        • +2

          sounds delicious

      • Fart in it

    • +5

This is "lightly" sparkling to be fair.

But the fact that we still buy so much bottled water in Australia when we have some of the best drinking water in the world really upsets me. Drinking tap water is almost 100% cheaper.

      • +7

Where do you live? I live in a small outback town just 45km from Port Augusta in SA. The drinking tap water here is total crap! It’s filtered bore water supplied to surrounding towns. Our rainwater here keeps us alive. Even the town drinking water for Port Augusta from the Whyalla pipeline is not amazing!!!

        • +1

Urban population (% of total population) in Australia was reported at 86.36 % in 2021, according to the World Bank collection of development indicators, compiled from officially recognized sources.

        • +1

and even in some suburban areas, the water tastes terrible.

    • +2

This is carbonated, so no you can't.

      • +1

100%, some people have no idea

    • +1

Who cares about the emissions, if that was the case you may as well stay home and grow everything yourself.

Everything unfortunately has some mode of transport, and I love lightly sparkled water with natural flavours, and this is a genuine bargain.

Why buy food from a take-away shop when you can make it yourself, because it what we all do

    • Used to get packs of 24 for around 13 bucks during amazon sales as i recall.

    • totallyyyyyyyyy agree….

  • +3

Coles in Melbourne is $6.82 for these 10 packs

    Passion Fruit back in stock

    • thanks

    • Thanks! Ordered 2x!

  • Cans are lined inside with plastic

    • I still find canned lightly sparkling lime somehow tastes bad compared to bottled ones.

      • The harder plastic bottle is probably more stable and less seeps into the liquid.. just a guess

  • Does it taste any better than Frantelle?

    • +2

Frantelle tastes better imo, but not that much better. I just grab whichever pack is on sale at the time

    • +1

Yeah, I prefer Mount Franklin over Frantelle - though it may boil down to personal preference.

      • Or u could boil them down if that is your personal preference 👍🏻 🤪
