It’s essentially for free from the tap.

Bottled water is such a huge waste of resources and has a pointless impact on the environment.

Why do people buy bottled water in bulk like this? Serious question.

Because tap water tastes like shit.

      • Feel sorry for folks with dodgy tasting tap water. Thankfully everywhere I've lived in Sydney its been fine.

      • Yeah my tap water smells like shit and taste very metallic. Ever since the floods

      • You might want to check your plumbing!

if you care about the environment, the power of your device and the internet, is from clean source?

      • The people who always talks about "waste of resources"/"environment", such as this bargaineer, actually does NOT care about it at all.
They could be using fossil fuel all the time.
They just want to stand on the moral high ground.
        That is just hypocritical.

Let people buy what they want.

Why do we have to have this discussion every time water is posted. Let people buy what they want.

Some scenarios could include, long road trips, camping, picnics, lack of access to clean water and pure convenience.

    • Prepping also. It's really not a bad idea to keep 1-2 days worth of water for your family in the cupboard, considering every time there's a weather event or even minor disruption to the supply chain, the supermarket shelves get stripped, and water is one of the first things to go.
