Just looking on PC Case Gear for a new CPU and noticed that all the new Ryzen are marked down. Cheapest I have seen so far. Also Intel has their princes reduced too

edit: AMD Germany apparently said there are no official price cuts and these are Black Friday deals… Do those usually run for several weeks? I don't know what to think anymore. Maybe it is a sale?

pretty confusing situation. it started off sounding like a permanent price cut, but nearing BF they adjusted the phrasing to say it's a temporary sale. who knows.
A lot of PC retailers seem to be doing this as a matter of course. Basically all graphics cards are permanently on a 50%+ sale at several retailers ;)

I suspect their eBay store prices would have been inflated to cover the selling fees. Looks like it has been at $934 for the last few weeks, so still would have been a decent deal if the Zip promo covered the CPU too
MSY had it for $810 on Black Friday for your information.

@olcrackerjack: I did not because I use PC for gaming only and 13700k will match or beat 7950x's gaming performace at lower cost
It was $810 from Amazon Black Friday if you bought it with gift cards from Aldi.
This ain't a bargain price, nearly all computer store have it for the same price.

It's a shame pccg have/choose such expensive shipping! Most deals from there kill it for me due to this. When other online shops like centrecom and mwave have $5.99 of free shipping over a certain price. When shipping costs more than the product you're buying, something is wrong lol.

Stop supporting PC Case Gear and their disgraceful shipping fee practices. They charge a minimum of $15 for every single product, even tiny charging adapters.
Get a 7950X from any of BPC, JWComputers, Centrecom, MSY, PLE, Scorptec or Amazon.
