My favourite pocket torch is back (this one as an everyday carry-around and the IF22A for the house and car)…It's about $1.19 more than my last post on this model…good for those who have missed out.

If you haven't had a Sofirn torch before, you don't know what you are missing out on! You know that saying "once you go black, you can't go back" (since the colour of this torch is black).

2 colours to chose from:
5000K - 5300K (orange hue).
6000K - 6500K (white hue).

Select with 18650 battery.

Apply code SC32AU6 to get it for $37.23 delivered.

Yes, shipping does take a few weeks, but it is from the Sofirn Offical Store.

5000K is not orange. It's slightly on the blue side of a neutral white. 6500K is daylight (quite blue). The sky is blue after all, it gives quite a colour to the outside world ;-)

    • Exactly. I prefer 5000K, it is more of natural white. 6500K is brighter but it gives people the pale ghost face look.

You know that saying "once you go black, you can't go back"

    Uhhh

    • It should go without saying, but given how hot these torches can get during use I strongly recommend against any kind of insertion.

    • Haha yeah, stupid quote. I already owned a few black torches but recently I bought a green SC31 Pro and a blue SP10 Pro instead.

      • OP clearly didn't consult edfoo before writing so flippantly.
        I call shenanigans.

        • +1

Nah, I don't think OP wrote that, he probably just copy and paste that from the ad?

  • Anyone know the 18650 specs?

    • 3000mAh. Pretty decent according to a few internet reviews. Not exactly in the same league as Samsung, Sony or Panasonic though.

People seem to think this is a porn site. Sick minds

      Username checks out

    • Huh? I think you're the only person who think it is a porn site.

  • 1) Why this vs stuff from $10usd on - they all claim impossible lux and specs that are fake tho..
    2) can these stay in the car, where it gets v.hot every day?

    • +2

The lux from SC32 is not exaggerated fake though, reviews have shown the max lumen is not far from the claimed 2000 lumen.
It's those cheap torches with claimed 1 million lumen are fake. they are measured by "Chinese lumen" by adding extra two or three zeros to the number.

Sofirn torches are decent quality, should withstand hot temperature inside the car. But you probably don't want to take it out from a hot car and immediately switch on the Turbo mode, it will step down in brightness very quickly.

      • thinking emergency torch in car, afaik recharge will explode in a car heat?

It seems the less you pay the more outrageous the claims

      • yeah that's why I hate aliex and the culture of lying there.
anything I buy there I spend $10 and expect crap.
But amazon I hoped it would be safer w/ returns. Not that I can test them myself.

  • I see SC31 Pro 5000K with battery can be had for about $39 delivered. How does SC32 compare with SC31 Pro besides not using Aundril 2?
