I get signal (1 to 2 bars) out side but not inside my caravan.
Can someone suggest a cheap booster or wifi hotspot that can have a Ariel plug into it.
Either battery or power is fine

You can't just get a cheap booster. It needs to be approved and licenced for use.
If you are caught with an unapproved booster it can be massive fines.
You can buy a Telstra Go repeater for around $800.
Alternatively there are some USB sticks and modems that allow you to have external antennas and those will have usually a diversity type connection (2 separate connections).
If you had a reliable 4G dongle or router you could use external antennae on that and then connect via wifi to utilise volte.
Unfortunately this option doesn't work without having another SIM card, compatible 4G router, AND external mountable antennae for it - which can be a difficult ask
OzB way, keep the mobile outside of your caravan.
Mobile boosters are illegal in Australia, unless you have a permit from the ACMA and good luck with getting one.
If you have a mobile broadband modem then you can get a YAGGI antenna for it and put on the roof. Then you can use the modem's WIFI to connect your phone to use the internet and if it supports WIFI calling then you can use it.

I didn't know Ariels had cell phone or wifi connections.
