Best Home Gym Flooring Solutions

Hey all,

I'm after some rubber flooring for my home gym (just a pair of adjustable dumbbells and a bench for now).

Just wondering what my fellow ozbargainers are using for their home gym flooring?
What thickness of rubber mats are recommended and where did you purchase yours from?

Will need around 15m2 in total.

Appreciate the help!

15m2 isnt really that much… if you dont want to hunt around on marketplace or similar, bunnings does a DECENT one, but exxy though. Been a while since I looked but after lockdowns were relaxed you could get 1m x 1m tiles for high 20's each brand new.

    • Are these the ones you got? I was worried 10mm might not be thick enough

Not from Bunnings but they were 10mm - I was using crappy Bunnings EVA ones before that and they were fine lol I don’t throw/drop my weights hard though.

I've got the ones from Sports Floor Australia. 1mx1m and 15mm thick with a smooth surface on top for $39 per tile. Really nice just make sure you get one with speckle so it looks cleaner longer.

    • Great tip, thank you mate

I'm using 15mm flooring from MA1. Has been pretty good so far.

    • Awesome, thanks for the recommendation mate
