Samsung 65 Inch TV Keeps Turning on and off

Hi guys, my Samsung UA65AU8000WXXY Samsung AU8000 UHD 4K SMART TV suddenly turned off and now it turns on and off with a dark blue screen. TV standby light is not coming on either. I can hear sound and see a blue screen but it keeps turning on and off continuously. It's only 8 months old

Has this happened to anyone else? I do not have a Surge Protector connected. Just wondering what can be the cause here? Can this be due to a power surge, all other electronics in the house are ok. I have got a Samsung tech coming in to check it.

I hope they would replace it without a fuss!

  They will most likely repair it, Sony's and Panasonic have been known to do that also, im sure it's an easy fix

  Sounds like a Capacitor on the Power Supply Board

  It will be a warranty repair easy. Ask for a loaner.

  Tech came down, Faulty LCD..will see what Samsung says when he sends the report.
