May be the lowest price for Samsung soundbar Q930b, ordered one.

Was looking at the Q990b, but with this dropped to ~$600, couldn't justify spending 2x price for the Q990b.
I know someone got the Q990b for $950 from TGG Hoppers Crossing, called them up and they said can't do the price. So, I'm happy to settle for Q930b @ ~$600.

For those who have access to Reward Gateway, 8% discount on Catch.com.au giftcard, which bring the price down to $554.58.

My order status updated as "Dispatched" within 1 hour of placing order.

    This deal/seller was discussed - though not as cheap - during the Black Friday thing, but a lot of OZB steered clear because of the possible dubious nature of the seller. I stayed away for that reason as well and ended up going through Samsung themselves, with the 15% off loyalty coupon on top. ~$677 ($75 more) delivered than this deal, and still an absolute steal, but without the worry. I hope the seller comes through for everyone.

        You can contact Samsung online chat to get the 15% loyalty coupon. You need to have an existing Samsung device for them to verify.

        As mikhaelkin said, open up the Chat bubble and speak with a live chat rep. I asked about a customer loyalty coupon I heard they gave out. They'll want a photo of a serial of an existing Samsung product you have. I sent it to them then they asked me to email it to them which I also did. The guy in chat then sent through a code. Barely took 20 casual minutes all up, mostly on me getting the photos to them. Very impressed with that system.
        They state the coupon can only be used for that product. I think they may issue coupons for other products if you ask about them.
        And yes, it worked on their already good deal of $799.

        Hey I've just spent a few minutes and you're right: it seems they've removed it from their own online store. Even the Stock reminder/alert link I had goes to a 404, and the image is broken too.

            @essent1al: They were backordered to the 19th December (when I ordered mine) so I'm guessing its EOL? Could be licensing issues with Dolby, I just dunno. I think the model has been around since 2020 but someone may be able to correct me. Fortunately it's still getting great reviews and we've got warranty so I'm comfortable.

    Reading the seller participation agreement it sounds like you have the same protections as buying from Catch direct so I can't see an issue.

      Each to their own. I have a dedicated home theatre room setup but also use a soundbar for the family room and it fulfils its purpose - which is to produce better sound then your tv speakers and it also passes the wife acceptance test.

      This includes a sub. Bose doesn't at this price range.
      Sound bar are a lot better with a sub.

    FYI I bought from JB last week, and got the last one in NSW
    JB has discontinued the item, likely for poor sales/margin and competitors have been slashing the price, so for JB at least they’re bringing it to EoL early (probably for it now being great value vs 990b)
    Got them to price match a random site (don’t remember which) for $745. They won’t match Catch affiliates though as they had for $695 at the time.
    If you were able to purchase this you got a great deal.
    If anyone wants an initial review I’m installing tonight so can comment back

      I managed to snag one, keen to hear your review.

      From what I can see it, it is the Q800B with the rear speakers included.

      Not sure why it would be getting discontinued when it only came out this year.

        Yeah I’m unsure myself. Just checked and also been removed for sale from Samsung online store.
        The JB sales rep also agreed it was weird as it was only released in store in Aug. He did note that the code for discontinued - can sell floor display hadn’t come up yet so it may be a temporary pause, however every store in NSW was showing 1 in stock - the floor display (except Bankstown with 2, which I went and purchased)

          I suspect they are probably trying to push people onto the higher priced Q990B

          I read the compare between 930 and 990 and besides slightly better rear speakers, 990 are rear firing 4.1 from memory and an extra HDMI port they are basically the same, both can't do 4K at 120hz passthrough

            @fadaada: i purchased last Thursday night (after the BF/CM sales). It was live on the JB website until Wed evening and then removed.
            JB sales rep said their last sale of the item (at their store) was with the BF/CM sales the prior weekend and current stock was -2.
            They'll ofc honour sales made prior to removing from live sales, but since then it hasn't been available for sale/purchase.

    NOT LEGIT! I bought this item from Saver King via catch on Nov 28. It was marked as dispatched on Nov 28 with no tracking number. After several failed communication attempts to get a tracking number, I opened up an incident with catch today who messaged the seller asking for a delivery status update. Then later today, Saver King refunded the item. Clearly was never posted. Disappointing, as all the other retailers no longer have this item on sale.

      Mine was marked as sent a few days ago and I noticed it didn't have a tracking number. I messaged Saver King via Catch and asked for the tracking number.
      A few hours later, they refunded the product with the reason "out of stock"…

          Yeah the first time I message Saver King via Catch on 5 Dec, where all i asked was for a tracking number, Saver King responded saying, "Please allow a maximum of 14 days for delivery during this busy period. This is the maximum time frame and orders generally arrive much sooner." Implying that it's been dispatched, only for it to be ultimately refunded by them at the end saying 'out of stock'. Wtf? seriously dodgy.

        I don't think they had any stock. And it also appears this seller doesn't have any items listed on catch anymore, and I can't even seem to see their seller page either (https://www.catch.com.au/seller/saver-king). I know that link is correct, because the cache version still exists on google.

    Did anyone actually get one from this deal? I had similar experience as to above. Order confirmation, dispatch confirmation, no tracking link that works, no way to contact them. So contact Catch, who says they would contact seller and a few hours later got note saying refund as out of stock. How do you 'dispatch' with no stock? Maybe they were selling Meta virtual soundbars…
