Bunnings Special Order Faulty Item Replacement?

I installed a smart lock yesterday, but it failed to connect Wi-Fi. The company technician could solved the problem and suggested me to exchange.
The problem is this was a special order. The woman in the Bunnings I talked to basically just repeated BS like you need a technician to install blah blah blah. And this is a special order and no store carried any order… so what?!

Anyway, I’m not confident that this woman really knew what she was talking about.

OzB community, what should I do? I can return the faulty one to Bunnings and wait for (two weeks of time) them to reorder one for me. But before I approach Bunnings again, I would like to learn a bit more from fellow OzB.

BTW, the issue with the Eufy Touch Wi-Fi lock is it failed to connect Wi-Fii! If anyone had same issue and solved it, please let me know.

Ps: I bought it on special, but it’s being sold at full price everywhere at the moment.
