    • +2

kind of makes up for the other 99% of deals that screw us for postage!

      • True. Sucks that you guys are too far away.

        • Yeah! let the east coast order from somewhere closeby - USA :O)

  • Damn I am looking for a SSD too. I have read this one is a good one to go with, very fast too.

Would most people recommend it or an other brand?

This ones the best "overall" SSD on the market to date…

Faster them M4 & Intel and the fastest in some benchmarks even vs SF2200
Number 1 reliability even better then Intel
Chips, ram, controller, software are all in-house Samsung parts so no third party mismatch issues.
Super slim design, 3 years Warranty.

Its just right, i would make it my wife if i could. :)

      • I'd want more than 3 year warranty on my wife.

in the PC world.. 3 years is a lifetime.

        • you want more? 3 months warranty is good, happy to get another new one if required with brand new cells not written to..

        • PC Gear? I thought we were talking about wives.

    • Two years ago I built custom PC fitted with a 60GB OCZ Vertex 2. It's never given me an ounce of trouble, yet the web is littered with horror stories of OCZ drives.

It's getting a bit full now so have been looking to upsize to a larger SSD and just ordered one of these Sammy units. The inclusion of a mounting bracket and Ghost 15 swayed me to this SSD. Benchmarks I feel are an absolute crock of BS.

In real world usage any SSD will trounce mechanical drives by a decent perceivable degree whereas SSD1 vs SSD2 differences seems more of a 'meh' factor.

  • When the next SSD deal for the Samsung comes along (Im in vic), ill be snapping it up.

  • i want 256GB or 512gb please

  • How much does it cost to by the cable that comes with this SSD

    http://www.ozgameshop.com/hard-drives/crucial-64gb-m4-ssd-2-…

I want to copy my Current Hard Drive over rather then install OS, drivers etc etc

    • Are you saying you have a laptop or can't install the SSD in your current PC case and then transfer for some reason?

  • Nah sorry I have a Laptop and I want to transfer everything on the currect hard drive inc OS, Drivers etc etc to a new SSD.

Dont have a desktop atm to do the other way.

Does this Samsung come with a transfer kit or do you need to buy one extra

    • That's fair enough. All you need is a USB-to-SATA cable (or external caddy) and cloning software. There's plenty of free ones - Macrium, EaseUS, Paragon, CloneZilla. I've only used CloneZilla but the interface is not exactly user-friendly.

  • Sold out.
