Interestingly, if you go directly to the ID, the normal price shows. Adding ?smid=ANEGB3WVEVKZB&th=1 gives the $40.35 price.
Very likely a pricing error.

No idea… but at $40 I was willing to give it a shot :)
The price is due to the high grade stainless steel. You can get the normal plated versions for around $80. It's an excellent safety razor.
