The problem here, as with some other retailers like Kathmandhu, is the definition of the RRP.
It might be possible that the product was once being sold for the RRP, but only fools would have paid that.
So, by apparently knocking 50% off we suddenly get a bargain?
OzBargainers and other bargain seekers are not so easily fooled by this misrepresentation
Effectively right there, These kind of items have gone thru a Marketing Department and handed around to various exec's/management then they have gone thru the Qantas store for people to use Points on and then once they just want them gone they hand them off to a reseller.
Qantas RRP on an item that is more so for Brand Exposure & Marketing could be anything from $50 to $500
Everything Qantas puts its brand to is shoddy in my experience, much worse than the airline itself even with its current issues.
What!? A luggage store with a 50% discount? Unheard of!
