Accountant used to cost around $200 for personal taxes for fairly straightforward tax returns.
I asked for price list and it seems charges are as follows:

$150 per side hustle.

It could be like $700-$1000 on average for most people. Is that expected range for most people who have some extra asset/investments?
Yeah Crypto is assuming you are using Koinly or something so they don't have to do any work.

Isn't that part of your personal tax returns? So, wouldn't you need to bundle it all in if you doing with your account.
This one is the one that annoyed me as it is really simple and i have a spreadsheet and google drive to manage all receipts. Paying even $100 for someone to do data entry is an overkill. There is no depreciation, etc. Simple income and expenses.

We have all of that and pay $374 for both of us. I also don’t even need to meet my accountant anymore, I just email through my spreadsheet and they ask questions if necessary.

I assume that’s a FROM $100 price level…. And assumes you have everything documented and summarised with use of an approved calculating tool?
