Our parcel has been touring the country since September. It has visited multiple cities in most states and territories except for the Northern Territory and Queensland.
It is believed to have an eroded address label with the number 7052 visible. Original address was PO Box 7052 but the machines are reading 7052 as a postcode.
Multiple enquiries have been lodged trying to get it returned (gave up on having it arrive at the correct address). A few times they have said they will intercept it and get it on its way back to us but inevitably it starts a new Australian tour. This parcel is worse than John Farnham! All we have been able to do is call back every two weeks like they suggest with no change.
Unfortunately it contains personalised items which are expensive or difficult to reproduce so we really need to get it back, compensation won't help much.
I am desperately hoping that somebody on this forum works at AusPost and can notice it and grab it and go that tiny bit above and beyond and can help get our parcel back to us instead of it condemning it to the system where it will continue to have a much more exciting travel life than me, for the next year. We will be very grateful!
It is currently at the Regency Park SA sorting facility, but there's no guarantees how long it will stay there. These are the places it has previously visited (some multiple times separately), in case anyone works there and could keep an eye out for it for me:
- SYDNEY NSW
- MELBOURNE VIC
- HOBART TAS
- ST LEONARDS TAS
- KINGSTON TAS
- SUNSHINE WEST VIC
- WELSHPOOL WA
- MORNINGTON TAS
- REGENCY PARK SA
Damn - what a tour. Can't help - but good luck!
