Bought one of these at full price a few months ago. Super happy with it so far.

What have you been charging with it. Does it quick charge s22.

      • +2

Not sure about Quick charge, doesnt look like Samsung uses that term?
When I plug in the Charmast, it says Fast Charge (Not Super Fast Charge like my 25W Samsung Charger does).
I would imagine it probably is doing about the 20W it says it is over USB C.

        • Thats still good.

I like their stuff especially the smaller 5000 mah one with the built in connector, under 100g does USB PD for iPhones. No cable clutter and slots right in and fast charges + light weight. But yea you pay a premium for the size.

I have always been worried that this form factor will damage the phone connector. How do you find it in that regard?

      • Seems fine, just a normal connector, it actually extends out a bit so designed with cases in mind. Can also charge the iPhone when charging it via USB C.

    • does the 5000mah fit on an iphone with a case?

    +1 on the Charmast gear.
Not your usual crappy unbranded powerbanks. They seem to use really good quality cells, it's a big 10,000mah.

    Note: None Pass-through charging provided.

    The 20W 23800mah (386g) at $40 does pass-thru - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08M9NMHMV/

    • What is pass-thru?

      • +5

While it's plugged in, it passes through the power to charge your devices instead of discharging it's battery (& charges it's battery at the same time). Extremely useful when travelling light with only one adaptor.

OK, thanks for explaining. I appreciate it.

    • So does the 5000 mah one as well.

  • So these are good quality power bank?

  • Interested in this one.
Bought 2 of the 30,000 ROMOSS ones on sale to use for travel for my wife and I.
The ROMOSS is amazing however I never used more than 20% of it between charges.
This one might be a bit easier to take on planes etc.

  • Is the capacity really what it says it is though? There's alot of fake capacity in the powerbank market, or at least misleading.

  • Mine does not give out 20Watts, I think the maximum I could measure was 12 W when the power bank was fully charged and MBP was at 30%.

  • Can this charge a MacBook air?

  • If I can seek some OZB wisdom, I have a device needing 12V (heated jacket from recend deal), will this power it via PD or QC3.0 if I find the right passive (no active electrical component) adatper cable? e.g. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/384854274402?chn=ps&_ul=AU&var=6…
