I booked flight with Malindo(MA) via Checkmyfares.com (CMF) on 24-07-2019 for travel on 12-04-2020. On 19-03-2020 they cancelled the flight and offered me flight credits through my travel agent (CMF). Since then, I have made sure to be in constant touch with CMF so the credit don't expire due to them picking random expiry date along with rebooking condition like rebooked tickets needs to be for the same sector even though MA hasn't resumed their flight on the same route.
Now CMF have stopped responding to my emails (last sent on 5th Sept) where I asked them about the flight credit and if I could use them to book another esector on MA.
Has anybody been through similar situation with CMF or any other travel agent or airline? What did you do? I'm trying to figure out what my options are.

When you google this company, the reviews aren't good. They are just another dodgy virtual travel agency and unfortunately as they are not registered in Australia there's little to nothing that can be done. You can call your bank and advise of the situation and see if they can do a credit reversal. Worst thing they could say is no!
