Such is life. Price jacking has existed for a very long time and won't go away anytime soon.

Not sure how valid this example is since that $22~ almost could be taken from amazon.com in USD. I always take these price trackers with a grain of salt. I.e. Honey tracks user fed price updates, rather than bots scouring the intrawebs.

Such is the stigma that every consumer believes black Friday to be the holy grail of bargain shopping. While this is true for some things (waited a whole year for a new blender and kettle), where heavy rebates are put in place by suppliers to push sales - it's such a stupid misconception and no more stupid than Australian's adopting Halloween.

Probably worth buying 5 of that that same item from aliexpress for $40.

    • If Ali Express could overnight delivery as cheap as Amazon then they would charge a lot more for their items.

      • Good thing they're able to ship them in 1-2 weeks like Amazon does for non-metro areas.

    Common practice.

The item sold by third party seller, a different seller could be selling the item today than one yesterday. Yes I won't close the chance it could be from the same seller.
