In the process of looking for a couple of ceiling fans with lights for 2 or 3 bedrooms.
Any recommendations or any to stay away from?

Same. Have 4 of these, or an earlier version of the model, about 8 years old and still going strong. https://www.bunnings.com.au/mercator-130cm-white-4-blade-gra…
The remotes, however, are crap. I just threw them all out and put in smart wall switches instead because the buttons, which had been playing up for years, completely failed. I can control the fans on my phone or on a proper wall switch now - so much better.
The fan does use two globes, but mine at least don't take the globe shape, they need to be candle style or at least narrowish. Light brightness is good, but perhaps a touch on the dim side.
Yep have same ones and youre right, the remotes are crap (and expensive). We also have to use candle globes which is frustrating.
Buy fans and put in downlights away from the fan.
Martec are ok. Get the optional remote
I bought these for 3 bedrooms, then got 2 more for living areas as they are pretty good
Are the lights good enough to light up the room? Or do you find it a bit dull?
Three shade LED’s (daylight, white & yellow) with dimmer, so as bright or dim as you like
We have the same ones. Works really well with google home.
This my jam in 2 bedrooms
Check out beacon lighting brah
How are you going to jump on the bed?
We got these bayside lagoon fans. The LED lights can be set at three levels by flicking the light switch. The brightest setting is plenty for a 4x5m room. Also liked that they were very low profile, I think 27cm from ceiling to lowest point. We skipped the remotes. Sparkie also recommended against them, just a pain long term.

i have the HPM 3 blade ceiling light/fan in my bedroom. it's meant to have 3 speed settings (4 if you count off) but recently the mid speed setting died. so now it's either barely spinning or tornado spin. :(
Weve got Mercator. Nothing flash but they do the job. Use two globes rather than those circular globes. Just be aware remotes will cost extra.
