I was booking international tickets the last few days before Black Friday. On Black Friday the same ticket price jumped up 25% to 30%. I think the airlines used Black Friday to raise their prices

Yep, this morning had a NZ flight I've been monitoring go up nearly $200
Demand management was probably left on so when the website started getting above average number of hits the algos went crazy.
