  • ok here's some real talk

i'm pretty hard on laptops so here goes…

Clevo isnt a mainstream brand although its pretty popular with the super high end gaming crowd

    theres some caveats…

    $99 extra for Win7

doesn't say what is the std. wireless card (I hate 1x1 rubbish)

    $69 extra for a 1,080p screen (I hate 768p)

i just optioned one and it came to $1,000+ and i only did minor stuff.

Also GT630M isn't exactly a great card. Read some reviews and you'll be disappointed.

    • $69 extra for a 1,080p screen (I hate 768p)

768p screens are pretty standard, if you want to upgrade, thats up to you, though $69 to upgrade to a full hd screen is well worth it.

i just optioned one and it came to $1,000+ and i only did minor stuff.

Depends what you optioned, as with everything, if you upgrade, its going to cost more.

      • i agree with you totally

i just chose the 1,080p screen, the 2nd lowest wireless card and Win7 HP = $1,016

not being greedy or profligate… just what i think are basics…
