Kids Battery Toothbrush

Looking for a kids battery toothbrush for 10yo.
Came across these two options currently on special, wondering if anyone has bought it and how is it? Or recommend some other electric toothbrush?

  • The first one seems to have a larger area for the bristles, which is usually not as good for getting in and around the teeth properly, especially in smaller mouths of children. Even for adults, you’re better having a smaller one.

I would start with the cheaper one so that they get used to an electric toothbrush and it is a similar size to their existing toothbrush.

In 12 or 24 months you can then progress to the second one when it's on special again. The second one will last longer, but you will need to buy replacement heads every 6 or so months. I bought a kids one from Aldi and spare heads for the kids after using the cheaper electric toothbrush for 18 months.

Like an inkjet printer the replacement toothbrush heads can be expensive if not on special if you buy a name brand toothbrush.

The brush head is not replaceable in the first one, which is a deal breaker for me.

    • Yeah agree ridiculous they sell an electric toothbrush that you can't change the head. My kids have the second one and they work great and have pretty good battery life too

My kid had been using a star wars stickered one which is exactly same as the frozen link since he was about 4…good battery life…As he got older I insist he brushes thru 2 cycles, I think they are 2 minute cycles. He is now 11 going on 12 still fit for purpose. Heads easily sourced and replaced. Highly recommend. And they have only gone up $2 in 6 years.
