Wechat SafeMode - Exceptions Occured When Using Wechat (after iOS Update)

Anyone unable to use WeChat after iOS update ?

Upon app launch, it enters into Safe Mode with the message below,

Reboot phone to prevent WeChat from restart exception.
Exceptions Occured When Using Wechat

Already tried reboot, clear app cache, offload app / reinstall.
Have not tried delete app / reinstall.

No issues with my iPhone 11 and iOS 16.1.1.

Have not tried delete app / reinstall.

Certainly worth a shot IMO.

I've heard WeChat mentioned so many times on podcasts but never seen it written down - did anyone else picture it spelled WiiChat?

Deleted app & reinstalled , fixed it.

All messages and media gone though; as WeChat doesn't backup to server like WhatApps, only backup manually to local storage / PC (That's only if you've done it before app failed to work).
