There's an Allied-branded ATX case in that photograph, which is the in-house brand for Techfast and Allied Gaming PC. I think they just buy up some builds from Techfast and resell them with a few minor tweaks. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/12133932/redir

There are some casemods in that system that improve it's appearance, but won't contribute to gaming FPS and just adds to the price tag.

I'd be expecting a 13th Gen / Ryzen 7000 paired with DDR5 memory and a 1000w Platinum power supply at a $5000 price bracket. Crucial P2 (QLC, DRAM-less) is also one of the lowest tiers SSD you can buy.

850 watts is kind of borderline, and I wouldn't be surprised if shuts down due to power spikes on the 4090.

Basically not a great deal, it's like someone buying a $10 cheesecake from Woolworths, added some extra icing and candles and are selling it to you at an extra markup.

    • Processor/CPU: Intel i7-12700KF (12 Cores/20 Threads, Base: 3.60 Ghz, Boost: 5.00 Ghz) $549
    • Memory: 32GB Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB/ADATA XPG 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM (2x16GB Dual-Channel) $180
    • Storage: 1TB Crucial P2 NVMe M.2 SSD $109
    • Motherboard: MSI Z690-A PRO (Support upto 4 x NVMe M.2 SSD) $259
    • Graphics Card: MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio 24GB GDDR6X $3309
    • Power Supply: Gigabyte UD-P850GM 850W 80 Plus Gold Certified Full Modular $149
    • Case: White Mid Tower Case say $120, I am more than sure they'll use a unbranded case
    • Cable Mod: Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 24pin (With Adjustable RGB Colors) $69 but I am pretty sure they've got it much cheaper
    • Customisable LCD Display - Hardware Info (Add-On) $150 for all hardware required via China import
    • RGB GPU Support $30
    • Windows 10 Pro (Upgradable to Windows 11) (if it's actually genuine) $269, if it's from Kinguin etc, then $10
    • Office 19 (Home/Pro?)
    • Network Card/WiFi: Gigabyte AX1833 Dualband WiFi & Bluetooth $39

Basically ballpark price if you build it yourself without a deal.

    What I don't like:

3200 RAM will hinder the performance,

ADATA isn't a particularly good RAM brand as I've experienced multiple kit from them being heat sensitive causing game crash sitting above a hot GPU

QLC SSD (Google QLC if you don't know what that means)

    unknown case // unknown cooler

I doubt windows and office is actual genuine. as Office 2019 is discontinued for sell.

$5232 for those who don't want to add up.

thanks, this price is considering genuine windows and case worth over $100 and all parts comes with no discount.

Which is not going to be the case.

        • Thanks for doing the leg work. I'd like to build, but I don't want fancy crap like LCDs.

  • and things like

why not get i5 13th gen for almost overall better performance,

why not get better branded RAM/SSD

why not get better cooler than that 120mm unknown in photo.

why not get a motherboard with wifi to save cost and get better WiFi performance too.

    why not get better PSU,

you could save altogether if you build it yourself on that LCD screen, RGB GPU support bracket etc.

by the time you tweak it and throw some part in & out, you'll definitely cost more.

Also they are very very likely grey importing a lot of those parts from China, so good luck getting any cross-region warranty outside of their store, and good luck with their own warranty.

  • Been a few yrs since I built a gaming PC…
but is it really 5k for a good gaming PC these days? Are my PC gaming days over?

    • This is a PC for people who want the best of the best, although as @OMGJL points out above, there are many upgrades to this machine.
The main selling point is the top of the line 4090 GPU which is $3.000 by itself.

If you just want a normal PC to run every game on or near max settings then $1500 is enough.

  • I say wait for AMD HD7970XTXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX to come out, big performance much lower price

and No Nfireor in your case

  • Plug it into a Heymix charge and you'll be nice and toasty

  • $3k+ for a GPU 😂

  • If you have to ask, you don't need the high end specs and are wasting money. If you make 7+ figure salary annually, then sure go ahead, otherwise no.

  • Wow Amazing - Thanks OP!!

    • Hey are you still selling your mac for 800?
