Likelihood of Another Big Surface Pro 8 Deal?

I'm looking to get a SP8 to start university next year - min recs. are i5, 8/256gb but looking to get i7, 16/256gb to safeguard for future use.

I missed out on all the huge discounts through October as I didn't need it at that point in time.

MS currently has a black Friday sale atm for the following:
i5, 8/512 - $1,679 + free sleeve
i7, 16/256 - $1,919 + free sleeve

I will also be purchasing the keyboard+pen which will be ~$400.

Any suggestions on whether this is decent or should I hold and wait out for another big sale on the SP8 devices?

The prices of harvey norman are as follow:
i5/16GB/256GB - $1398
i7/16GB/256GB - $1594

Maybe you can take that price to jbhifi for a price match so you can get it at a 10% or even 15% discount via gift card.

Any other surface pro 8 deals?

I was looking at an ipad 14 inch (sure its different but would of been interesting), but they have cancelled…..
