I'm in the market for a 65" TV. Something for mainly movies/TV with a bit of PS5 on the side.
I've narrowed my search down to the Sony & the LG.
From what I've found these seem to be the best value, but Im open to any other ideas.
If you had to pick one? Which would it be? They are basically the same price.
LGs have 4 HDMI 2.1 ports whereas Sony only has 2 (out of 4) so LGs are better for gaming in that advanced game settings like VRR are better supported.
Sony has better image processing e.g. upscaling non-4K content and also sound quality because of the Acoustic Surface Audio (where the entire screen is the speaker) — this is significant if you're not planning on using external speakers like a soundbar.
I'd get a C2 (for the EVO panel) over an A80K, but an A80K over a CS (which uses the older/less bright C1 panel), assuming comparable prices.
I am also in the market for a 75" TV and would like to pick between a Sony or LG.
Which exact models would you recommend?
Im going for Sony.
Google TV and better speaker system.
General consensus is LG if you're going to be using it for gaming
