Mid Range Gaming Laptop Deal - Legion 5 Pro

Hi all, looking to get a mid range gaming laptop, ideally with a 3070, and was thinking of getting the legion 5 pro (AMD, Gen 7) specced with a 6800h, rtx 3070, a 1tb SSD and 32gb ram for $2300 ($2400 with 5.5% cash back).

Any opinions as to whether this is a good deal or if there are any alternatives? It’s not an urgent purchase so should I potentially wait and see if any better deals appear? I know the new AMD and nvidia cards are right around the corner but I wouldn’t spend any more than this in the near future.

  Lenovo's site has the 7 gen Pro version with 3060 and 16gb ram & 512gb SSD for $2249 with using their black friday discount code :/

    It was from the Lenovo website, although the coupon was a bit glitchy and it was the only one on sale with a configurable build. I should’ve jumped on it earlier when I figured something was fishy cause I checked again this morning and the deal is no longer available for it… ugh
