Maybe this is how Gerry can sleep at night

  • I am still on the hunt for the perfect pillow, closest I have come is shredded memory foam and adding/removing the pieces of foam
Bought a highly rated memory foam one from Ikea, but its just 2cm too low to be fully comfortable….but it feels nice

Unfortunately it is not the one :(

But I also dont want to pay 129 and find out its also not right hahaha

      Go into HN
      Take pillow
      Go into bed section.
      Lie on pillow

      • How many other people have put their faces on it ;)
        haha

I probably need to - there are so many different pillows these days and really need to sleep on it to see how it lasts during the night to know how good it really is.
Things feel good initially, but after long periods it loses the oompf

bring a shirt or a towel from home you're willing to sacrifice, use it as separation layer, burn it when you get home.

          or wash it, whatever works.

I have so many pillows in my house.. because, none of them fit right. :/
I am here to say, I will probably buy this pillow.. and put it on the spare, spare bed when I does not fit right. lol

          • @WalkerBoah: I have about 5 spare ones in my room at the moment - probably start giving them to the kids unless the wife wants to keep one :P
Its just so hard to find one suitable, even with people's feedback on here on what they found to be "perfect", it just doesnt end up that way once I get it hahaha

            • @Encify: yolo, I just bought one xD

              • @WalkerBoah: Let me know if its the magical unicorn pillow after a few nights :)

                • @Encify: will do

                • @Encify: still waiting on my pillow so have nothing to report. Hardly Normal at their very best yet again.. my order is still "processing" :/

          • @WalkerBoah: I feel for you
kmart has decorative pillows, bed size in the bed section, 2 for 10$
Those did the trick for me after all the expensive pillows
depends on how my neck feels I sleep with one of 2 stacked.

sometimes I mix 1 kmart with 1 ikea Down pillow and it's just right.

also. you should know Pillow protectors seriously change pillows for the worse, thickens them in a manner that basically makes them feel a whole lot different.
so maybe you'd prefer one of your pillows with less covers on it?

            • @The Milk Man: yeah, I buy all kinds from all places :) the cheaper ones can be good, but only for a while.. they tend to end up flat a bit too fast. Does not help that I will use them to lean up whilst propped up in bed too hahaha.

    • Which shredded memory foam pillow did you buy? I was thinking of one as well, especially since you can add or remove pieces as per your comfort level. Did it work for you?

    • Same situation here, what happened to the shredded memory foam one?

  • Hopefully this helps the OzBargain members lacking perfect sleep.
Harris scarf currently have a sale on many pillows.
I was very tempted on the Bas Phillips Gel Infused Memory Foam Standard Pillow Standard but managed to resist.
