Holding out for Black Friday - 75" TV

I moved into a new house with lots of windows 2 months ago and have been holding out for Black Friday to buy a 75" model. I've been Sony Bravia biased for many years so I'm used to the navigation.

With the black Friday sales, do you recommend a specific model/deal or an alternative to the Bravia?

  • … What did lots of windows have to do with anything?

    • Glare may be an issue - so need to keep that in mind with the model I pick.

    • Lots of windows will mean OLED is almost certainly not a good choice.

      • I have the C2 and have lots of windows at my place. The glare is obvious during the day but I don't really mind it. I had concerns about peak brightness but if anything it is too bright (especially at night). The G2 have better anti-glare if you can afford it.

  • Go for top pf the range bravia. You are esentially playing for the screen anyway. If you're used to it, just get it

  • LG C2 77" ..this is the one

    • I would by it at $5000.

Or even the 77" CS version for $4000.

    • This is currently on sale at JB, will BF be even cheaper or just get it now?

  • +2

    TCL c835

    • This. Mini LED is very very lovely to look at.

      Budget?

I know you Sony biased, but the The Samsung QLED’s are known to work better in bright rooms and glare handling.

However check out https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony to see what works best for you. They do tests on light reflection/glare for all the TV’s.

    Sony X95K.

Lots of windows will mean that OLED isn't a great choice.

  • I'm down to the Sony Bravia XR75X90K vs the Samsung QA75QN85BAWXXY.

The Samsung is $600 more which will be tough to justify.

  • Sorry for hijacking, the C2 is on sale at JB, get it now or wait for Friday?
