Update: Guess it was too good to be true. I received an email stating my order has been cancelled due to insufficient stock.
I found the Wyze Cam v3 selling for $61 for 1 camera and the same price for 2 pack. I hope it's not an error and they honour 2 cameras for $61. Shipping is free.
There is a discount for the pan v2 camera as well for those wanting that.
Anyone know how their after sales cs support is?

Purchased 6 cams at end of April after reading raved reviews and watching positive videos…. We are now in August and I have 4 cams showing the "Red LED Of Death" (no flashing, factory reset can help this). Those cams are bricked just by simply using them (no power outage or poking around to try to do something fancy or flashing or anything… Simple most basic usage… Filming.)… To make matters worst since I am Canadian Wyze won't honor their warranty.
Come to your own conclusion.
Personally those 6 cams were my first and last Wyze purchases. Definitely not going to buy anything from that company. You have been warned."
if you buy from Amazon youll have good sales support but outside of that i think youll be out of luck, i have had an issue with 1 where the v2 was not comnecting to app and they walked me through the reflashing the device. fixed the issue for me in that instance.
With this cameras you kinda have to regard them as disposable as a light globe.
Rubbish. I have V1 cams that still operate. As I buy V2 and V3's I just move the V1's to less important roles.
I buy through Amazon, so any issues I have had, Amazon have always sorted it instantly.
Out of 8 cameras, I have had one fail after 3 years (Was an indoor cam that was outdoors in the dust and weather so I'm ok with that)

They dropped support for the RTSP firmware.
On the other hand, there's a kind of bridge you can use if you want those protocols for use in certain software. https://github.com/mrlt8/docker-wyze-bridge
There is still a custom firmware that has rtsp and full offline (no cloud) mode which is exactly what most advanced users need (frigate+ha)
just a FYI I had issue flashing wz_mini_hack on the last one i bought, not sure if they have done something to it.
The docker the performance is not as great as rtsp directly from the device imho.
That sounds much nicer.
Although, there seems to be a notice of "don't upgrade to X firmware", which makes me wonder which firmware Wyze are now shipping.
@Namidairo: The one I had issue was shipped with firmware before the stated warning, so not sure if they have done something to the core code/kernel to prevent this?
Will wait for this one to test again.

Ordered 4 of these cameras through Amazon via WYZE 2 weeks ago, and they were delivered with an Australian USB plug, in case anyone was wondering. Reviews from earlier in the year and beyond stated they came only with US adapters.

One of my Cam Pan V2's bricked a few weeks ago, and Wyze Australia (Amazon) replaced very quickly.
It was in use for about 4 months before bricking.
I need one of these to monitor a damn spider thats lurking on/under my car. I refuse to drive it till it's gone. Can i run this via a portable power bank?

I didn't even get a confirmation which is odd. Thought I didn't place the order but money was withdrawn, no cancellation either. Login takes to Wyze.com away from global.wyze.com, going back to global requires login again directing away from global.wyze.com. Seems the global doesn't work properly to check orders and wyze.com doesn't show orders from global.wyze.com. Bit of a pain.
