Hi.. Looking for inexpensive (maybe around $100 or less) and decent quality sunnies (just for casual use or driving, without power). Where do you recommend to buy them for good deals? Any online options? Thanks.

Cancer council glasses are good; and the ones in most chemists (black ice etc) are fine as well if generally a bit less stylish. Depends what you want them for. And what you mean by 'decent quality'. There is an obvious difference between the lenses of, say, cancer council glasses at $40 or $50 and Serengeti at $400 and you dont get the 7 different lens colour options; but the CC ones are perfectly useable. I used to by a 'brand name' sunglasses guy, but for the last 10 years I've just bought cancer council ones, and if I leave them behind or step on them its not $100s wasted (and you can sometimes get them on sale at DJs. Goodr make some fun/more fashionable ones at $50
the main thing to avoid is ones off ebay or amazon which are not australian standard certified. Wearing tinted lenses that are not actually sunglasses is really bad for your eyes. Get Cat 3 (or maybe Cat 2 depending on where you live / what you do) and personally I always get polarised. Grey lenses are the all rounders.
you can, of course, buy glasses online but its one of those items you pretty much have to try on and see what you look like.
I like Hawkers. Cheap enough to have a few pairs lying around without worrying about losing/breaking them.
If you need any power and dont have extras cover to help pay for it try Zenni in the US.
If you do then can consider Clearly
Cheers. I don't need any power. Just for casual use. Added it to my question now.
Local United servo.. $20
