I'm on a trial gold status for Velocity and stupidly assumed that my 4 Singapore Airlines flights would count towards my 2 required eligible sectors. They don't!
So I have very little time to complete my eligible sectors by the end of Jan, plus I live in Perth so I have to sell an organ every time I want to fly.
Do I have to get on the flight for them to count as eligible flights, or just book them and not cancel like I did on Qantas?

You can get the 4 eligible sectors by flying indirectly to somewhere eg fly to melbourne or sydney via adelaide each way and that will give you 4 sectors. Have a look at various options as sometimes the indirect route is not necessarily more expensive. Good luck.

Adelaide will probably be your cheapest option. Just be careful when booking - I don't think 'lite' fares count toward eligible sectors
