Making my first gaming PC and am debating on which GPU to choose.
I am conflicted between this:
Sapphire PULSE AMD Radeon™ RX 6700 Video Card $475
-and-
Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT EAGLE, 12GB $599 + AMD promo - Callisto Protocol and Dead Island 2
Would the 6700xt be worth the extra $125 if I get the 2 games along with it? I am aware the performance of the xt variant isn't the best but is an improvement over the non xt.
If you want the games specifically get the eagle, you are probably saving about $20-25 on buying the games outright yourself and getting abit more performance boost on the video card. otherwise get the Pulse.
I have a Gigabyte 6600XT Eagle and it overclocks higher than gigabytes own website specs and far above any other 6600XT in youtube benchmark videos (almost 2.7ghz max boost).
That sapphire is not an XT version it only has 2 fan reference design thermals, 10gb of vram, 2304 stream proc and max boost of 2495mhz, the gigabyte has 12gb vram, 2560 stream proc and max boost of 2589mhz (maybe higher if it's like mine) with the 3 fan 'windforce OC' design thermals.
That is a fair difference mate, the price difference is worth that alone; plus it comes with games.
I would get a 6700 xt 2nd hand still under warranty for about $450, Probably a powercolor or sapphire
