$159 with free delivery is the best price for this model in a few years. I have the openrun but these are waterproof for swimming.

same for the OpenComm which is great for video conferencing
wow, that's worthy of a separate deal! I paid $200 only a few months ago
Are these models being discontinued or something? I see these ones but can't tell the difference:

@localhoost: The cheaper one are old stock (before they rename to Shokz)
@LucidDream: @LucidDream ah ok — any idea if there are any differences or just the label? Mine says "welcome to AfterShokz" when I turn them on, wonder if that's changed hah
They need Spotify playlists on this bad boy.
Maybe it's time for them to dump stock now that there are combined models out from competitors!
Can you share which competitors and models? Would love storage + Bluetooth on these for swimming and running

(Note: I'm not affiliated - just found out about these. I own both Aeropex and Xtrainerz).
I like the idea of a combined model, but based on this review, the Shokz have better sound.

I've had 3 sets. all have worked really well when swimming (sometimes 10+ hours in the sea a week). use the earplugs if you want the best sound.
they last about 6 -8 hours on a charge. I use them to listen to audio books when working out. being able to hear your surroundings when cycling is why they exist.
cant comment on music quality as not used them for that.
niche product but worth it in my opinion.
Annoying thing is that you can either start a track or stop a track, and no fast forward or rewind. So if you're halfway through a podcast and you skip to next track (or turn off), you have to start again.
I find that I have to use earplugs to listen to podcasts. Music is less of an issue cos it's just background sound anyway and you're not trying to catch every word.
Double Tap or Tripple Tap the answer call button to fast forward / rewind
You must be thinking of a different product
@belongsinforums: Depends on the podcast app. Google Podcasts treats next/prev track buttons as fwd/rwd.
@KayDat: This has Bluetooth?
@belongsinforums: No this product does not have bluetooth
it holds your position, well mine does when in the middle of a chapter, skips back approx 5 seconds when you turn off. it'll pause as well and hold for about 30 mins before turning off.
How do you load podcasts onto these?
Download as MP3. Load via usb cable
Do you use some sort of converter or software to do so? This is the one thing preventing me from buying.
@murphinator69: That would depend on where the podcast is from. YouTube is super easy.
@belongsinforums: Whatever works I guess! Have you done something like Audible?
@murphinator69: No. YouTube dl is a powerful program
I have this, great if you hate earwax factory earbud/headphones, also able to sleep with it on comfortably
Makes lap swimming less monotonous
Just swim in the sea like a shark then 🦈
