Not worth the 13mm of shelf space it’ll take up even though I have 200+ in my collection already. Maybe when it’s in the $2 bargain bin.

Interesting people neg subs deal but not this.
Do you really need to waste $10 and buy this when you could get a month of Disney+ and watch this + access to a whole month of content?

    • If you don't notice the difference in quality from streaming to physical media, cinema and physical media isn't probably something you should be commenting on.

Why watch the premier League when the social men's comp play every week for free around the corner from my house?

      • You had a valid point in your 1st paragraph. Then completely ruined the analogy on 2nd.
Valid is relative though, depends on your set up, looks like you're the one who shouldn't comment.
Also it's a sh!t movie, not like we're arguing about art.

I'm just really passionate about local sport

      • If you don't notice the difference in quality from streaming to physical media,

I don't see a very big difference, also very depends on the movie, some 4k movie not real 4k.

        • Wait until you learn about compression artifacts and bitrate.

Once you know what it is, it's quite difficult to unsee

      • Bluray has a much higher bitrate than streamers. Compare the size of Remuxes vs Web-DL on torrent sites for instance. A 4k Bluray is 50 to 90GB; a streamer rip is around 15GB.

You notice banding artifacts in the skies and when the background is out of focus, fog/smoke messing up, blockiness in night scenes, etc at lower bitrates

Only enjoyable part was his introduction

One of the worst MCU movies I've seen

This movie tried so hard to be funny it was bad.

They made Thor into a parody of himself.

Yeah and the other actors (in any Hemsworth movie for that matter) always seem to do that thing where they glance at one another everytime the Aussie is talking, almost to say "who is this guy and how the FK did he get the part, lol just listen to him".

I guess the paycheck allows Hemsworth to swallow the sheer shame, embarrassment and frankly humiliation of it all.

    • It eventually dawned on me that they turned him into a Zoolander level character.

  • This is also $10 at Big W, which is probably why Amazon dropped their price: https://www.bigw.com.au/product/thor-love-and-thunder-4k-ult…

  • I already watched it and can play it back in my head

  • do people really still buy physical media for movies? feels like I went back 10 years

    • Yes, you want the best quality and best sound, 4K is the medium.

      • was more or less a tasteless pirating joke I was making.
