David Bowie?
David Boon ?
David Beauchard
@jv: David Butt?
@jv: His original name was Bruce Banner… all the Marvel heroes had alliterative names.
His original name was Bruce Banner…
That must be someone else, I was referring to:
https://hulk.fandom.com/wiki/David_Banner
'Dr. David Banner was born in Trevorton, Colorado, in the first half of the 1940s.'
@jv: This?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Banner_(Marvel_Cinematic_Universe)
@calcium: That's a different one.
Also, your link doesn't work.
@jv: From my unreliable memory, they changed it for the TV adaptation, cos the producers liked David better than Bruce.

@jv: I get it… they changed the name to David.
Was just providing some history to the new naming.
Dogs Breakfast?
This week haagen dazs on half price, next week Connoisseur half price.
Coles you are my sugar supplier!
you sound like you know your ice cream well… haagen dazs vs. connoisseur? what do you reckon?
Is this like gift cards now? They get hidden on the shelf the night before.
Common this is neither a bargain nor a deal.
what is it then?👉👈
Just a regular half price item. Has gone on half prices both at Coles and woollies multiple times this year.
On the contrary, it's a deal bargain (DB)
Thanks, all this ice cream half price specials week after week are going straight to my thighs
Connoisseur really is the best supermarket ice cream.
Treat yourself to some Haagen Dazs one day — it will really open your eyes. Or, more precisely, quickly snap your taste buds back to reality. It doesn’t have the multitude of added garbage ingredients that Connoisseur has. It’s more expensive — of course — but worth it. Haagen Dazs keeps it simple, and the result is glorious. You won’t be able to go back to Connoisseur, because your taste buds will be freed from the programming forced on them by the processed nightmare that is the Connoisseur ingredient list
Just went to their website to find out that what you have told is absolutely true. This is what I found for their Vanilla Pint:
Ingredients: Fresh cream (39%), condensed skimmed milk, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla extract.
This is just what I have been looking for in Aus for ages. Have tried an particular ice cream during my trip to India with pretty much the same ingredients barring the egg yolk and it was absolutely fantastic. Ever since then all the Ice Creams here have tasted like crap to me. Haagen Daz gives me hope now. Thanks a ton for mentioning this.
Cookies & Cream Or GTFO
Murray River gives it a good crack
Vanilla for me
The quality of their C&C went down dramatically from what it used to be. Vanilla still tastes like it used to.
But TBH I just miss the woolworths peanut butter ice cream.
For some odd reason I actually prefer the Aldi indulge cookies n cream, literally addicted to it
Better to be figuratively or metaphorically addicted to it — it’s much less fattening
Matcha is my fav.
Coffee coated nut is second.
I may buy both.
Try the new Haiku flavour, too!
Half price is $6… That means full price is $12 a litre, feel like it has gone up a lot in a very little time.
One of the fancy 1l is always half price now. Who is paying $12 for a tub of this? Surely nobody.
