Is This a Deal/ Recommend an ITX Build

Been looking at building/buying an ITX computer as we are relocating to europe and prices seem to be pretty steep when comparing to here. Going to be used for gaming mainly. Just wondering if this is a good deal (https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/kp-nzxt-h1-3070-kraken-po…) or if I should really be holding out until black friday ect. I have never built a computer before but have replaced a few parts over the years so not 100% sure on buying parts just to save a little cash or getting a prebuilt.
Cheers

At this point, why not wait for Black Friday?

Put all the parts into pcpartpicker to see if the price is any good. Eyeballing it I’d say no though,
700 for the card, 250 for the cpu, 400 for the case, 550 for the board, ram and drive, 1900 all up just buying the parts at todays retail prices. $300 to build is too expensive.

Plus $700 for a 3070 is outrageous and you can get the slightly slower 5600 for $200. Not great.

    • Part picker i got to $2131 with a few as close to parts that I could get. I was wondering if BPC are negotiable with changing some parts for cheaper. They list the 3070 as $999 but would prefer the cheaper 6800xt at $899.

      • Strange, seems high. BPC themselves list the board, ram and ssd as $550, $400 was the case price when I googled it and the CPU I’ve see on ozbargain around $230 recently. GPU is definitely not worth $1k as you say, there have been 6900 xts for that much.

As you said though, seems worth waiting for Black Friday.

  • I know a few days out still from the official black friday date but so far not much luck deals wise.
BPCtech got back to me on a request to change the 3070 to a 6800xt and some non RGB ram. They offered a free upgrade to a 3070ti and am still on the fence about the deal.
