RX 6950 XT Not Delivered, Worth Waiting for Black Friday?

Hey all,

Two questions: Anyone else who ordered from the recent sub-$1000 RX 6950 deal from Amazon US actually recieve their graphics card?

Second, mine was meant to be delivered on the first of Nov, so I have already gotten a full refund for it. I'm wondering if the lack of GPU deals recently (last week or two) are because vendors are waiting for BF/CM or if its because of the timing of the release of the latest gen graphics cards, historically there arent many deals immediately after a generation release?

i.e. Should I wait for Black Friday or just buy a (less powerful) replacement to my failed delivery now? I'd like to be in the $1000-$1300 ballpark with similar power to the RX6950 but I have a PC thats currently fully built minus a GPU just waiting around..

    Yeah at this point I'll just wait for BF.

    I'm still holding out that the 6950 will be delivered but at this point its 17 days late so I am probably dreaming, right?
