I agree with you, I also bought my wife the new ipad but I never get to use it :-( so I'm looking for something that will do tablet function with some decent specs and came across this. I'm a big iOS fan :-)
Google should be revealing their $199 7" quad core WXGA (1280x800) tablet tomorrow. Its supposed to be available locally by the end of July. That thing is going to decimate the tablet market. Today could be the worst day in history to buy a tablet.

Thats a nice input, thank you :-)
Fair point.
but without sounding like a fanboy
Too late…
Sorry, but you're sounding like a fanboy. I went from an iPhone to an Android model, and likewise haven't looked back.
Then again, if you're not technically proficient then the Apple environment is likely to be more suitable.
That's not even decent what is ampe never heard about it
most Android tablet will soon become 200
its a generic Chinese brand, but based on my experience everyone said what is Huawei when they first entered the market, today they are one of the successful and leading vendors in the Telco space.. and for the price and specs I thought its worth considering thats all
What is Huawei?
If you are after a ~$200 tablet, then probably best to wait, but if you want something smaller and cheaper, can pickup a Aurora II for $150.
Sydster, if you have questions or you're just looking for user opinions, the forums would be a more appropriate place for them.

I found this as a bargain thats why i had posted..
From your description, it came across as you're seeking advice from people on whether this is a bargain. That's a forum discussion topic. There's no mention on how the tablet constitutes a bargain (e.g. price reduction, product/spec comparison, etc).
If the quad-core Google Nexus tablet lands in Australia, even at a price of $250, it will decimate not only the Chinese-Shenzhen tablets but also the Kogan tablets. I'd like to see just what kind of answer Kogan would have to the Nexus Tab.
You mean it'll cut their sales by 10%?
I'm not expert but for $210, looks like its reasonable specs for the price.
I've said this on OzB before, but I've had a few Android tablets (some of the nicer ones too) but without sounding like a fanboy, I couldn't resist switch to an iPad after my wife got one. The OS is simply better x infinity (IMO).
Considering you can pickup an iPad2 for $399 new, it's an easy choice to make.
