Cheapest Mobile Plans for Couple of Weeks

hi guys
i just bought $160 boost sim and needs it activated by November.
I am with boost at the moment and it expired today.
Do i need to switch to another provider before I activate this one? If so, Which one is the cheapest one for couple of weeks usage.
Catch connect cheapest one is $10 but I am looking to find out if any out there for couple of dollars.

Please let me know.

    You do not need to port away and then port back. Instead, contact Boost on chat and they will fix it for you.

    (The other option would have been to port out to Telstra for the cost of $2. Just pick up a $2 card from Coles/Woolies. But yeah - do Boost chat instead)

    I am with boost at the moment and it expired today.

    Kogan has $2.90 starter sim but it will take time to deliver unless you have esim compatible phone.
