Hisense X Series OLED TV

Sup fam 😊 starting a forum here if anyone can find any info on the 2022 Hisense OLED TVs. I can't find anything online. Only from years ago, so older models. Maybe they've flip the switched and released it first here 🤷🏾‍♂️ and haven't reached overseas reviewers yet?

UPDATE: I was referring to RTINGS.com and comparison videos on YouTube that I can't find (yet). I'm sure their are random articles, but if I just wanted txt… I'd just look at the specs 🤓

Hisense use letters for their year model like Sony and Samsung (LG uses numbers), and number the Version of that Series. and obvs number for the size. dunno if that terminology was correct 😅

so we are looking for example: 65X9HAU
*65 = size
*X = series, which is OLED.
*9 = Top of the range model
(H = 2022 (or 2023) anyway, higher = newer
*AU = Aussie version. Hisense got in trouble for giving Aussie different models i.e. OS and HDMI ports.

I think Hisense have pretty good tech and much better pricing due to manufacturing and marketing. My LCD from 15yrs ago is still going. Their Laser TV tech is prob best. Rtings even said their mini-LED was at the top due to the extra tech in there. The OLED might be tailored more to gaming. Personally I just use it for movies.

Personally, I couldn't decide between C2 (tried and true) and S95 (QD-OLED but no Dolby Vision), and have read their might be newer tech soon (JOLED). Main point is I don't need a TV as I bought the Laser TV this year. But I will eventually get one for the my room. So curious to find the Pros of Cons of the Hisense so I can weigh them all up 🤓 P.S. Sony is out if my price range 😅

    I like Hisense as a TV brand, though not all their models are equal.

    Hisense is based in Qingdao, which is sister city to Adelaide. So me and Hisense are practically related.

    Google " 2022 Hisense OLED TVs" and start reading as there is allot of info out there, some is sales and some have info on model #'s and some are from retailers.

      Obvs I did this first 🙃 But yeah, I failed to mention in my original post that I meant video reviews so you can actually see the difference, esp those side by side comparisons. So yeah, my bad 🤭

      Anyway, the Hisense website has all the specs. As for reviews, I rekon most ppl have their Go-To places, RTINGS.com being the first stop for most.

      😲 But when I saw they didn't have anything on an Hisense X series models, I wanted to reach out here to see if anyone had any personal experiences 😊

      but yeah, I'm happy for you to share links if you have any 🤓 but my point is either objective specs (which we have) and subjective reviews (which I don't have) from trusted/credible (hopefully local) sources 😁

    I hate Hisense, I have 2 which have no ability to cast from a device, be it apple or android.

    Unless they have fixed this issue, avoid.

      yep, agree their OS is a massive drawback. But I stop considering this as a factor since I prefer to use a familiar Streaming device instead e.g. Android TV. But valid cocern 😊

      I recommend Hisense, some of their models anyway, but I always recommend using Apple TV or a good Android equivalent. Treat smart TVs like dumb TVs, at least in the kind of price range most of us are looking at. I see the top tier TVs tend to have really powerful processors in them and fancy remotes, but most of us aren't spending that much on a TV.

    Hisense has pretty shady practice, I won't buy a high end TV from them.

    I myself have chosen the S95, QD OLED looks absolutely stunning.

      Nice. Yeah, I don't doubt it looks great 😁
      but was that a difficult decision?
      or was it as simple as it being QD-OLED?

      pretty sure the consensus here is
      C2 -> G2 -> S95B -> A95K
      but curious to know if it was something else (as I don't like assuming 😅)

        To my eyes, the QD OLED simply looks far better than the G2. S95B essentially was priced at what I was looking to pay for a C2, so that's a complete no brainer.

        The biggest downside is missing Dolby vision, but it's brighter, the colors are better, so that certificate ain't that important compared to the panel quality.

          yeah, the Dolby Vision is the only thing that's not sitting well with me… but tbh, I don't even know if I would/could notice the difference 😅
