As much as I dislike this game, It has improved significantly since day 1 release. Give it a try but don't pay more than $5 for it.
Battlefield 2042 Free Play Periods:
Xbox: December 1, 12:01 AM PT — December 4, 11:59 PM PT.
Steam: December 1, 10 AM PT — December 5, 10 AM PT.
PlayStation: December 16, 8 AM PT — December 23, 8 AM PT.
It will also be free to all EA access subscribers for the whole month to my understanding.
No campaign would be absolutely fine for lots of fans of the BF franchise if they had made an excellent mp game. Instead they released this disfigured abortion survivor travesty called BF2042 that identifies as garbage. Pronouns include; rubbish, shit, EA steamer, forever steamer.
No campaign, so only focus on polished MP mode, Fail. They managed to include a bunch of the best/most popular maps form previous battlefield games but that couldn't save it. It's a disaster.
Game Pass Ulitmate users will get this as well with their EA sub.
I've heard good things about how improved it is… Based on EA/DICE history that means support will now dry up for it and they'll release the next BF shortly

BF2042 has improved much the past few months, like most BF games it takes 6+ months before they sort it out,
Past BF games were never released as bad as this one, it was usually just glitches or performance patches.
yea this one was exceptionally bad, but most others had some serious problems,
Yeah I remember BF4 performance issues almost made it unplayable for the first week or so.
Just make it free to play already
Atleast portal should be released f2p
