Signed up to a new plan yesterday for $69 pm for 24 mths with $500 gift card.
Spoke to 3 separate agents and they all denied knowledge of the port in credit, however the last agent said there is a credit for JB hifi returning customer.
Do they just not offer port in credit anymore? or am i just not persuasive enough? If so, what should i say for them to change their mind?
Unless things have changed drastically, just keep cycling agents
Ask them first for a contract cancellation quote, and then see if they’ll offer you the credit
Ok so i tried again (4th time)
At first i was saying im frustrated that im being told this by telstra and that by JB and they didnt' budge
Then i asked how much i have to pay to cancel the plan. They replied me with a figure alone and i paraphrased her to continue the conversation. The convo went silent for a few minute then she finally said it! Got 12 months $10 off, I tried pushing my luck for 24 months which she ignored LOL, but at the end im content with what was offered!
