On sale is the direct successor to the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad (Tab P11) with better hardware and software. Both the 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants are on sale with the latter being a better performer.

Featuring Android 12, 10.6" 2000x1200 IPS 400nits display, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage (supports MicroSD), mid-range Qualcomm 680 CPU with Adreno 610 GPU, 7700mAh battery with 20W PD charging, 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos, 3.5mm audio jack, 8MP front + rear camera, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C.

The seller has opted to flash global firmware on this tablet instead of the stock ZUI (Lenovo China's Android fork), so there's a chance Netflix might not be in HD. I don't own the tablet so I can't test. Either way it's a good price for some good hardware that's more powerful than the predecessor.

  • Dumb question but will Netflix work in SD?

And will YouTube work perfect on this tablet?

    • +2

Yeah if it doesn't do HD it'll do SD. YouTube will be fine

      • Thanks

      • OP, what's the max size supported microsd?

  • -8

Looks like Hekka has a better price.

My personal experience with Hekka was not good for a DOA device though.

    • +3

Ummm that's not the same. 4GB/64GB….

  • Sadly not able to get CR 20% cashback.

      This one is eligible:
      https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004398199672.html
And it's even a couple of dollars cheaper for the same 6GB+128GB version, with seller coupons. (Although using coupon codes may void the cashback)

      • Thanks for the link. I paid US $147.88 for the tablet package which includes case and screen protector

        • +1

Did the same. Wanted a case and screen protector as this will be for my 5 year old who is currently surviving on an ipad mini gen 1 and a Teclast Tpad that was already outdated when I bought it

          • @Kamppinator: Same here: 5yr old on an iPad mini 2, that won't upgrade further than iOS 12.5.5 (and thus a bunch of stuff won't install, or keep crashing). Worth the move, tho?

im getting $254 after tax and coupon applied

    who is Ahmed?

    • +1

      Ali's bro

    • +3

Not sure but he gets 18.

  • How's this Xiaoxin any better than Blackview Tab 15 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/733811 as the price about the same?

    • +1

Lenovo - 25% better performance (roughly). Much better software support, warranty.

Blackview - more RAM (although 6gb is plenty for basic usage).

Personally I am leaning towards the lenovo as Blackview seem to provide zero support

      • After a closer look, Blackview has 13mp camera and more battery live.

  • great deal! was actually looking at the pad pro 2. any deals for those?

  • How this compares to P11 Plus beside the Plus got snapdragon 750G and Android 11?

  • Can this do USB C to hdmi

  • -3

This looks like exactly what im after.
However i have never ordered anything from Alibaba before. How safe is it?
will i get a Lenovo? or a Lenoro? Almost a Lenovo but not quite?
Assume its a chinese package with language selection on set up?
    Thanks for any help :)

    • It says in the description you get a global ROM, so should have english and google play store enabled.

Lenovo is a Chinese brand, like Xiaomi. They have lower prices for the domestic market which you can only access by buying direct through something like Ali express

Aliexpress customer support is similar to eBay, if not better in my experience

  • Anyone have any input into whether this will be around the normal sale price for the near future? It seems a good deal for the specs but I am not well versed with china tablet pricing so any advice would be appreciated

    • Had some time so did my own research. Seems the old model barely dipped below this price in it's life even though it doesn't look to be getting later Android updates so if this tablet is suitable for you may as well dive in now.

Also waiting for the increased cashback isn't worth much since it is capped at $15 and the cashrewards standard 5% rate will net you about $12 anyway.

  • Is the xiaomi pad 5 worth an extra $200?…. Not sure which to pick, but have had a good experience with the pad 4.

  • +1

Just make sure you are comfortable (or don't care about) with either Chinese ROM or Seller flashed custom ROM…that could have dodgy or unofficial code…

Don't get me wrong I used to love XDA ROM flashing my phone and stuff, but nowadays device security is high in my priorities so I would not consider both of these options.

  • Thanks Clear, all the best with your recovery

  • Will this stack with that?

  • If i want to get next version of Android (e.g. 13), will i need to install it from a ROM? or will it get OTA update?

    • As I got to know is that Chinese rom will perform better a bit quicker and will have more functions.
