TPG nbn BYO Modem Rebate $100 - Any Experience?

I'm looking at getting NBN for the first time and need a new modem.

I noticed that TPG has a modem rebate of $100

Anyone have any experience with this?
Also i cannot finds T&Cs around how long i need to be a TPG customer for,

New customers only. The modem must be purchased from an Australian retailer with a valid ABN within 30 days before or after your TPG NBN application. Your receipt must be scanned with the date and receipt number clearly legible. The rebate request must be submitted within 30 days after your TPG NBN application. Limit of one claim of $100 credit per receipt per customer account. Any issued modem rebate will be issued as a credit on your TPG account; any unused credit cannot be refunded. The modem must be compatible with the NBN as per the requirements here. Rebate scheme may be withdrawn at any time.
