  • curve or flat is better for productivity you think?

This size, definitely curved. Been using a 34" UWQHD for years, the curve is perfect for peripheral vision. Flat would suck.

    • depends if you are doing one of them in portrait mode.
I have 3 monitors, but i recently realised I either do it in 2+1(portrait) mode or 3 in a curved mode… which i had a light bulb moment that i could've just have 1 single curved monitor, and maybe reuse one of them to read documents.

also i've always been on dell U series monitors, so looking for a suitable replacement, it's been a struggle tbh. finding one with good colour reproduction and good for occasional gaming.

    • It depends on what you do.

For gaming or watching movie, a curved is definitely better because less pain in the neck with full screen.
For coding or reading documents, I would say there is little difference between a curved and a flat screen as long as you are not using full screen mode to read them.
For design work flat screen is much better because when you draw a straight line, it will be shown straight on the flat screen….

This is a great monitor if you use it mainly as a work monitor. It is an IPS panel, the colour is much accurate, low latency, 144hz, it ticks all my boxes.

The only problem is the looks of the monitor, after all, it is Philips. The stand looks ugly too.

Damn if it was curved i would have jumped on this

That would just make it flat anyway.

  • What is the usual price? Should that be included in the headline?

  • I feel like this isnt that long you need curved

  • Hodl. Heaps of monitor deals last year with CF. Fingers crossed.

  • I doubt you can get a curved for this price, had an eye on this for a while. finally a decent price to work with

  • This is an IPS panel monitor, unlike VA it is very hard to do a curved monitor.

I think I've seen an 1800r curved IPS panel 34 inches UWQHD monitor, which is almost flat.

    • yepp. i am not saying its 'curved'

  • Reminds me of grandpa's portable radio by Philips in 80's where he listened live cricket on the go

I got this recently and it’s incredible value for the money, highly recommend!
I was worried that it would be terrible to use as its flat 34” but it’s perfectly fine
If your desk is like 75cm depth or more, its really not that bad
